GIMA judges award category win to Deco-Pak for ‘whimsical and charming’ birdboxes

GIMA supplier Deco-Pak jumped to the top of the pecking order in the Pet Care, Aquatics and Wild Bird Care category, with a win at the 2018 GIMA Awards gala dinner in South Wales.  Deco-Pak’s Quintessentially British Collection of decorative birdhouses and birdfeeders impressed the judges who described it as “whimsical and charming – a fantastic take on the traditional bird house.” Continue reading

Glitz, Glamour and Golf at the 2018 GIMA Awards

Glee Green Heart update

The horticultural hub of Glee, the Green Heart, is making its return later this year and is set to feature the widest selection of growers and plant specialists to this thriving section of the show.  Working in partnership with Woodlodge – the Green Heart’s official merchandising bench supplier – this year Green Heart will be made up of 114 benches, making 2018 the biggest ever Green Heart at Glee.   Continue reading

From an enthusiast to a market leader: 30 years of Lumag

The automotive industry is one of the sectors shaping Polish economy. Companies based on domestic capital excel at manufacturing buses, semitrailers and automotive components, often becoming leading players in their market segments. A case in point is Lumag from the town of Budzyń in the Wielkopolska region – a company manufacturing friction materials – which celebrates the 30th anniversary of its operation this year. During these three decades, from a company started by an enthusiast entrepreneur, it grew into one of the leaders of the Polish brake pad industry and today it exports over 80% of its production to over 40 countries around the world.
