Worcester Festival Choral Society

0W8A1992Our in house photographer was on hand to capture some images of the Worcester Festival Choral Society performing Handels Messiah at Worcester Cathedral this weekend.

The dark conditions of the Cathedral were challenging especially given no flash or tripods or monopods were allowed.

However the most annoying aspect was the steady flow of ushers requesting to view photo permission documentation.

In the end some usable photos were taken before being banned by an over zealous usher

Once in a blue moon !

Most definitions say that a blue moon is the second full moon in a calendar month.

D58R0603 from RAW _1This year, July’s first full moon was on the 2nd. Because there are 29.5 days between full moons (known as the lunar month), here we are again at full moon on 31st.
