Enhancing environments, growing revenues – Fordingbridge confirms plans for Glee 2018

Fordingbridge – the leading specialist design and build contractors of inspiring canopy, walkway and building solutions for the garden retail sector – has confirmed that it will once again be showcasing its latest designs, services and exclusive materials at Glee 2018 (10th – 12th September, NEC Birmingham).

Bringing with it over 50 years of experience, Fordingbridge’s presence at Glee 2018 will be a must-attend for any garden retailer considering expanding their retail footprint or looking to invest in upgraded exterior design. Passionate about increasing commercial potential, and with a proven track record within garden centres, the Fordingbridge team will be on hand throughout Glee to talk interested parties through a wide range of design solutions.

The company’s stand is set to reflect their market-leading designs. Featuring an eye-catching and hard to miss hybrid structure composed of steel posts and timber arches, the roof will be covered in Opal60 fabric which has been exclusively created for Fordingbridge.  The unique Opal 60 finish is waterproof, fire resistant and allows for 60% light transmission through, which prevents discoloration of products merchandised underneath the canopy. Any plant stock displayed under Fordingbridge’s Opal60 will also remain in prime condition as the material prevents over stretching to reach the light.

Steve Toone, Managing Director of Fordingbridge said: “We’re excited to confirm our presence at Glee once again. At Fordingbridge we pride ourselves on designing and creating beautiful yet functional canopies, walkways and other building solutions.  Everything we do for customers is done so with the aim of helping to increase their retail footprint, improve the customer experience instore, and help to drive year-round sales by creating weatherproof retail environments – an issue we know strikes right at the heart of every garden retailer.

“From showcasing our design services and promoting our exclusive materials, to helping retailers understand the scope and ease of installing a Fordingbridge structure, we’re sure that our time at Glee will be well spent. We’ll also have a wealth of information regarding completed projects, which we believe will provide inspiration for other interested parties. We look forward to welcoming existing and potential customers to our stand next month.”
